What colour ribbons are there?

The standard colours are: Black, white, red, navy, yellow, pale blue, electric blue, purple, silver, brown, gold, ivory, lavender, green, pale pink, hot pink. Please note:  Colours may vary slightly due to computer/tablet/phone monitor settings. If a colour is not listed contact Jenny on 0404 773 559. We can also provide a variety of different shades.  So, if you need a particular shade just send us a sample and we will do our best to colour-match it for you. Please note that if the ribbon colour is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you immediately of the delay in production time.

How many print colours are there and what colours are they?

There are 14 wonderful colours available – For white ribbon – black, metallic silver, metallic gold, matt silver, matt gold, red, reflex blue, brown, midnight blue, purple, green, burgundy. For coloured ribbon – black, metallic gold, metallic silver, white, matt silver, matt gold. We also offer black, red, blue and antique gold in wash proof foil.

How many widths are available?

We have a wide range of widths to offer: Double-sided satin:  is available in 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm widths. As well as some in 38mm and 50mm widths. Our Elan Woven Edge Single-Sided ribbon: is available in 5 widths: 25mm, 38mm, 48mm 72mm, 96mm. 

What type of ribbon is available?

Double-faced satin:  Has a very rich look. Both sides of the ribbon are the same so it is perfect for Weddings, Gift Wrapping, Mother’s Day / Father’s Day, Anniversary, Baby Shower, Christmas, Christening, Communion, Easter, Valentine’s Day, Hampers, Champagne and Wine Bottles, everything and anything in between! Elan single-sided ribbon: Is a luxury woven edge ribbon with a beautiful feel.  The Elan ribbon that we use is made exclusively for our supplier and is ideal for Product Branding,  Business Launch Ribbons and Banners, Sashes, Sports Ribbons,  around a special Birthday Cake, Achievement Awards, Exhibitions, Pet and Livestock Championships, Weddings, Presentation Sashes, Graduations,  Achievement Awards, the list is endless.

Can you print Company logos or images on ribbon?

We can custom-print your business logo for your merchandise on ribbon; in the same print colour as the text.    Email us separately on ribbonlee@outlook.com a high resolution bitmap graphic in .jpg, .png., or .tif file and subject to being suitable for printing, we will custom-print this onto the ribbon for a small one-off fee of $10.  Call Jenny on 0404 773 559 for help or more details!

How do I order?

Ribbonlee has user-friendly ordering processes.  Orders can be placed via email at Ribbonlee@outlook.com.   Simply let us know – 1) The ribbon colour and width you would like personalised; 2) Your choice of print colour and font; 3) The text and image you would like printed on the ribbon; 4) If there is repeat printing let us know the gap between repeats; 5)  The number of metres required; 6) The address to send the ribbon to.  If you prefer or need help you can phone Jenny on 0404 773 559 and she will be more than happy to help you.

Do you provide samples?

At Ribbonlee we want you to be completely happy with your personalised printed ribbon so upon request, a black and white digital proof of your chosen design will be sent via email within 1-3 business days of submitting your request. Once you approve, we will print your ribbon.  This is just another example of the service provided by Ribbonlee. Buy with confidence from Ribbonlee. 

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. You can cancel your order but only prior to when you have approved your proofs and payment has been received.

How long before I receive my order?

We print in-house and usually have stock of most ribbon colours and widths for immediate printing. All orders are shipped out within 2-5 BUSINESS days. If you need the ribbon for a particular date please let us know and we will endeavour to achieve that for you. All goods will be sent to the specified Shipping Address. We use a Personal Delivery Service or Express Post.  Postage and handling fee is $15.00.  Please note: Australia Post estimates standard post to take 2-6 business days.

What if I would like to use a font not listed on your website?

Simply email us the font file separately at ribbonlee@outlook.com a high resolution bitmap graphic in .jpg, .png., or .tif file and subject to being suitable for printing, we will print this onto the ribbon for a small fee of $10.  Call Jenny on 0404 773 559 for help or more details!

What is your required payment method?

  Direct deposit is required prior to commencement of printing. Ribbonlee Westpac BSB: 033 0360 Account: 414070 .

Is the printing washproof?

We use the highest quality foil for our personalised ribbons, in a variety of metallic and matt finishes.  However, many colours are not washproof and are intended for decorative use only.  If you are looking for washproof custom printed ribbon, we can offer black, blue, red and antique gold print.

Can I iron the ribbons?

We suggest that you do not use direct heat on the ribbon. If your ribbon needs ironing then iron the back of the ribbon with a low heat setting on your iron and use a pressing cloth.

What if I am not happy with the ribbon?

At Ribbonlee we work with our clients to ensure that all artwork for their personalised printed ribbon is approved prior to printing.  If there has been an error on our part, we will either reprint your ribbon, or refund your payment.  However, the faulty ribbon must be returned to us prior to a replacement being sent or a refund being processed.  We are on hand to help you with your ribbon printing projects and our aim is for you to have the best possible outcome.

Can you cut the ribbon?

Yes, we can supply the ribbon as cut pieces for a small additional charge. We use pinking shears to avoid fraying.

Are your stoles on satin ribbon?

Yes, our beautiful stoles and iron on motifs are produced on a luxury woven edge single sided satin ribbon with a beautiful feel, which is made exclusively for our supplier.  The motif is printed with a special thermal application.  The ends have a simple pinking shear finish.  They come in several sizes 48mm wide x 1metre long or 1.5 metres long; 72mm wide x 1 metre long or 1.5 metres long; 96mm wide x 1 metre long or 1.5 metres long

How do I apply a motif to my stole?

Just a few easy steps –

  1. Remove paper from back of motif
  2. Place the motif on stole
  3. Carefully place an ironing cloth over the motif, ensuring that the motif has not moved from the required position
  4. Using your iron on a low setting, gently press the cloth
  5. Remove cloth and allow to cool before touching it

We suggest that you do not iron directly on the motif as it could damage it.

Are the additional sacramental motifs easy to apply to my stole?

Our easy-to-apply iron on Sacrament motifs is a unique and beautiful way to add additional sacraments to your stole.  We have a variety of designs for each sacrament.

Can I get my child’s name printed to iron onto his stole?

Yes, this adds such a lovely and unique personal touch.

What colours are available for the thermal printing on the stoles and iron-on motifs?

You have the choice of Metallic Gold, Magenta or Blue print.  Other colours can be applied for.

Can your Graduation Sashes be printed in School colours?

Our beautiful sashes add a unique personal touch to help make any graduation special and will certainly impress students and their families.  They are produced on 96mm luxury woven edge ribbon with a beautiful feel which is made exclusively for our supplier. We have a wide range of ribbon colours to choose from to suitably match the school colours.  Any standard fonts are available and specialised fonts can be applied for.

Can you personalise my Wedding Party Sashes?

Yes, we can add the individual names of your wedding party attendees to your sashes.  A beautiful sash with their name on it is a wonderful and unique thankyou gift and definitely a lovely keepsake for them.

What do the iron-on label look like?

They are white and the name is printed in black.  Personal printed iron-on name tags, make it easy to identify your clothes.  The measurements are 55mm x10mm.  They are great for uniforms (Summer/Winter) sports gear, jumpers, shirts, hats, library bags, aged care and more.  They are wash-proof and can be applied in 3 easy steps.

How do I apply an iron-on label to my clothes?

Application instructions – 3 easy steps

  1. Place the clothing label on your garment in the spot you would like to apply it
  2. Cover the entire label with a pressing cloth so the iron does not affect the printing.
  3. Using a no steam setting on you iron, press heavily for 20-30 seconds while ironing on the hottest temperature for the garment. Allow the label to go cold before touching it.

Clothing care labels

Thermal printed clothing care labels are printed in black, wash proof foil on satin ribbon.  Custom made care instructions are a perfect finishing touch to your creation.  Include details of where it was made and what it is made of. 

Can you custom print Award Ribbons?

Yes.  We can customise your award ribbons with colour, wording and design.  We have a wide range of ribbon colours to choose from to suitably match the school colours.  Any standard fonts are available and specialised fonts can be applied for. We custom make Sport Award Ribbons, Class Award Ribbons, Student Award Ribbons and General Award Ribbons for Schools, Sporting Clubs and Special Activity Groups.  They are thermal printed in metallic gold on your choice of quality satin ribbon and are serrated top and bottom. Our standard sizes are: 150mm x 50mm, 200mm x 50mm
